NOW OPEN-Notice of Solicitation of Candidates
Date Posted: Wednesday, February 18th, 2026The Town of Townsend will hold its Annual Town Council Election on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Two Council seats will be open for election.
-Applications will be open beginning February 27, 2026.
-Petitions of Candidacy must be submitted to Town Hall no later than 4:30 p.m. on March 26, 2026.
-Residents interested in serving on the Town Council may request a Petition of Candidacy by contacting Town Hall at 302‑378‑8082 or townhall@townsend.delaware.gov.
